Play & Learn Mandarin
Many English-speaking parents want their children to learn Chinese but have little or limited means of engaging and encouraging their children to speak Mandarin. It is with this in mind that EdnoLand has created FirstMandarin, an app that allows children and parents to learn and practice conversational Mandarin in a fun and engaging way.

| The scenario-based Chinese lessons feature animated characters such as family members, teacher or classmates, conversing with each other in Mandarin. The themes and lessons are designed to focus on useful conversational Mandarin that can be used at home, in school or in life. |

| Children, parents and grandparents are encouraged to join in the fun of speaking Mandarin by selecting different characters and recording their speech for each animated story and then playback to watch the story with your recorded voices! |

FAQ
If you encounter an error while installing the application, you can try one of the following solutions:
- Temporarily turn off your antivirus software which might hinder the application installation
- Uninstall the earlier version of First Mandarin if you have installed it before
- If everything fails, re-download the First Mandarin again in case the downloaded file was incomplete

General Information
- There will be 2 or 3 new lessons for you to explore with your child for each theme. Your child needs to complete one lesson before he/she may proceed to the next one.
- All the voice recording are stored in the Internet server when the device is online. If the device is offline, the recordings will be temporary saved in the device cache.
- Internet access is required to download new lessons, previous lessons will then be cleared from the cache so that the application will not take up too much storage space.
