EdnoLand.com respects the privacy of all users who visit the EdnoLand.com website. We have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. No effort is made to identify individuals without their knowledge. The following policies are in effect for all of the web pages owned and operated by EdnoLand.com:

When a visitor requests pages at any EdnoLand.com site, our web servers automatically recognise the browser's domain name and IP address. We use your IP address only to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.

We record the date and time of your visit to our site and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site. We use the information to measure the number of visitors to different sections within our site, which, in turn, helps us determine what is most useful and relevant to our users, and how we can continually create a better overall experience. This information is collected solely for statistical purposes and is not used to identify individuals. Our servers do not record e-mail addresses. We use cookies to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site.

Our web servers also recognise your operating system and browser. The browser information is used to develop and code pages so most people will be able to view the site correctly.

We also maintain information volunteered by site visitors, including contest entries, survey information, site registrations and e-newsletter membership.

From time to time, we ask users to provide their e-mail address or mailing address for the purpose of conducting a survey or to provide additional services (for example, subscriptions to e-mail newsletters or information about seminars). Our site's registration form requires users to provide contact information (such as their name and e-mail address) and the option to provide demographic information (such as their age, profession or gender). Optional demographic and profile data is used to tailor the user's experience at our site, showing them content that we think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their preferences. We do not disclose information about specific individuals to any third party.

We maintain a database of information of EdnoLand students for the sole purpose of providing online reports and projects for viewing by parents. Every student's reports and projects are password-protected and are accessible only by the parents of that particular student.

Opt-Out Announcement List

EdnoLand.com is set up so that after registration you automatically receive informational e-mail, such as notice of site upgrades and enhancements, new features and additional information on products and services. You can opt out from receiving this information by following the instructions in the e-mails you receive or e-mailing the Editor with your request to be removed from the mailing list.

E-newsletter Privacy Policy

Users can opt to receive information about new events and updates on our website by signing up for our e-newsletter which is entirely opt-in. Users may opt-out of receiving the e-newsletters at any time. EdnoLand.com maintains a strict "no-spam" policy. Your e-mail address will not be sold to a third party, for commercial purposes or otherwise.

If you believe someone has subscribed you without your knowledge, please contact the Editor with the e-mail address that has been incorrectly subscribed and a note stating the error so we may correct this problem. (Unsubscription information is also included with each newsletter message.)
